Rehearsal Rooms was created to meet the huge demand in London for high-quality, purpose-built Build to Rent (BTR) homes. Designed by Newground Architects, Rehearsal Rooms was one of London’s first institutionally backed BTR schemes.

One of two HUB developments at The Old Vinyl Factory in Hayes, Material Store is our second Build to Rent development, this time working with Fizzy Living with design by Newground Architects. Material Store provides 189 rental homes, with the first triplex to rent homes available in the UK.

The Boiler House, HUB’s second development in The Old Vinyl Factory regeneration in Hayes, derives its name from the steam and heating plant that once serviced the entire factory site. Designed by Studio Egret West, the Boiler House provides 54 environmentally-conscious homes at the heart of the remarkable regeneration project.

Chesterfield House is a strategic site in the heart of Wembley Central, previously occupied by a rather unloved office building. We secured planning permission for the redevelopment of the site to provide 239 apartments, retail space, a public square and a community centre.

This site was purchased in December 2015 with consent for a hotel and apartments but we returned to the drawing board in collaboration with award-winning architects shedkm. A resolution to grant planning permission, for an enhanced scheme of 245 apartments, was granted in October 2017 with City Hall confirming their approval in January 2018.

Smedvig appointed HUB as Development Manager for The Landing in July 2017. The site benefits from an existing planning permission for the demolition of existing buildings to construct a mixed-used town centre neighbourhood including up to 5,046sqm of retail use, 36,304sqm of office use, 22,770sqm of residential use, and 150 car parking spaces located in an underground basement.

HUB will bring forward plans for a large-scale mixed-use scheme, comprising creative workspace, residential, leisure and retail uses, creating an exciting new live/work destination for Birmingham.
