Say congratulations to...
A lot has been going on at HUB this year, with new faces, internal promotions and a huge desk reshuffle to create a more connected and cohesive workspace.
Read more‘If London were a person, who would it be?’, Robert, our CEO, recently tweeted while at The London Conference, the annual get-together of influential, senior policy, business and academic leaders. The responses were as eclectic and varied as you might expect, with a general, agreeable gravity towards David Bowie.
Ask the question amongst your friends and colleagues and get their reaction. What’s interesting, is that it’s likely everyone will select someone famous; a celebrity, sportsperson, politician, a key historical figure. What’s also fascinating is the variation in response and the differing reasoning.
The truth is, London is very hard to pin down. It’s a city that can be so much and do so much. It’s not an exhilarating or challenging place. It’s not a shopping mecca or a cultural melting pot. Over the next few years, there will be significant and lasting regeneration of this well connected, watery world. We dare to hope that Hoola’s location, at the gateway to London’s Royal Docks, will set a new benchmark in the area for architectural quality and energy efficiency.
