HUB is working in partnership with Smedvig to deliver this key town centre scheme in the heart of Maidenhead.

Historically known as the Landing (but soon to be rebranded!) the site is located 100m away from the Maidenhead Train Station, which already benefits from great transport links, but will benefit from the new Elizabeth Line in 2021.

Extending to some 3.5 acres of this historic market town, the proposed scheme will transform this part of Maidenhead with a truly mixed use development around a new public square.

Following an extensive public engagement programme involving some 1500 members of the local community, a planning application was approved in November 2018 for:

  • 424 homes
  • c.100,000sqft of office space
  • c.36,000sqft of ground floor retail/leisure space
  • extensive new public realm

 Demolition of the existing buildings on site commenced in early 2019!
